Cowboy Ken provides children and family shows that are highly entertaining, educational, and engaging. All Cowboy Ken’s shows promote the Iconic American image of the American Cowboy through cowboy songs, stories, historical facts, multicultural roots, and the Old Western Art of Trick roping. All his shows not only require that children and adults participate as they will clap-along, laugh-along, sing-along, trick rope-along, but also get actively his he brings to life this part of the Western Movement. Learn about the life and times, the work and past times of one of the most colorful characters to ride onto the pages of American History. Programs, shows, and elementary school assemblies are ideal for schools, preschools, libraries, family fun nights, fairs, festivals, roaming, and more.

2019 Summer Reading Show – Cowboy Ken’s Wild West Show
Cowboy Ken’s Wild West Show brings to life the Old West and the Cowboy in this engaging and high energy summer reading show that features demonstrations of the Old West art of trick roping, traditional and new cowboy songs, participatory cattle drives, and lots of opportunities for his “partners” to join in the fun of the Wild West.
The American Cowboy Show and Elementary School Assembly
Cowboy Ken brings to life the American Cowboy era from 1865-1890. This energetic and participatory school assembly for K-3 and 4-6 grades is full of traditional cowboy songs, fun cowboy stories, historical facts including the multicultural roots, trick roping demonstrations and some hands-on cowboy activities to depict the image of American to the world, the Cowboy. Connects with multicultural, historical, performing arts, music curriculum.
The American Cowboy Anti-Bully/Character Elementary School Assembly
Cowboy Ken introduces basic cowboy life codes, Codes of the West, to provide anti-bull and good character messages. These include treating others like you want to be treated, treating others with respect and caring, being honest, truthful, honoring your classmates and school with your actions and more. Included are cowboy songs, stories, trick roping demonstration all geared to support the messages presented. Connects with multicultural, historical, performing arts, music curriculum.
The American Cowboy Preschool Show
This cowboy show, for younger children (18 months to 5 years), features interactive age appropriate cowboy songs stories, traditional trick roping, on and off stage audience participation and stories that feature large puppets. Generally this show can be for all ages and runs about 40 minutes. You can also split this preschool show into two times: 1) 20 minutes or so for 18 months to 3 years and 2) 35 or so minutes for 3 – 5 year old’s over a 1 hour and 15 minute time frame for the same price as just 1 full show.
American Heritage / Presidents Day Show with Cowboy Ken
Cowboy Ken takes children and family groups on an historical adventure with songs, stories, trick roping and puppets to meet George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt. Everyone will sing along with historical songs, laugh along at humorous stories, learn important historical information about each president and their contributions to America.
Roaming Trick Roper –
Cowboy Ken provides trick roping fun to fairs, festivals, and other events looking for a roaming trick roper or a show and trick roping combination type of program. Roaming entertainment will have Cowboy Ken performing a wide variety of tricks, will have children and adults alike trying to spin authentic trick ropes, as well as children standing inside loop spins, and a flying loop spin that ties up one child at a time. He also engages adults in conversations about the Old West and their cowboy or trick roping stories. You can also combine a stage show and roaming for an event.
